Help The Soldiers, And Get Yourself A New Bow

archery hunting equipmentSince I am a two time Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran with the 101st Airborne, I was very pleased to see the latest archery hunting equipment news from bowhuntingmag about the Bowtech’s new addition to their family of outstanding bows, the 82nd Airborne.

The 82nd Airborne is considered our (The 101st’s) brother division, and I am very proud to say that. The rich history of the division started back in 1917, and they are still one of the elite divisions in the US Military.

With the archery/bow hunting season quickly approaching, if you are in the market to get yourself a new bow, then you should really consider checking out Bowtech’s 82nd Airborne. Bowtech will be donating a portion of the profits from sales of this bow to an organization called TAPS, or the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.

I have seen first hand what TAPS does for the families of the soldiers that are killed in Iraq. Take a second and imagine how difficult it must be for the families emotionally. Now, I want you to imagine how difficult it would be financially! Most of the time, the soldier is the person that brings the bread home to the family, and when they are killed in Iraq, it really puts the families in a tough spot financially!

About The bow

This is not your typical bow by any means. Most hunters drool over the fact that their bow has arrow speeds of 320 or 330 fps, but this amazing bow has an arrow speed of 350 FPS! This bow is one of the most deadly bows I have see, thats for sure! You may be thinking… with this fast of an arrow speed, you wont be able to shoot it accurately, or you might hurt your wrist when trying to shoot it, but thats not the case with the 82nd Airborne!

Just like the division, this things strikes fast! Don’t take my word for it though. Watch this thing in action!

If that video doesn’t make you excited, I dont know what will! To read more about this outstanding bow, head on over to the Bowtech website!

*I am in no way affiliated with bowtech. I am just trying to get the word out about helping the soldiers, and also give you a chance to get one of the best bows ever created!*

i think this is awesome. i servd during first gulf war and am still getting fixed at va. i pray daily for those in active duty today. i shoot allegiance currently, just purchased used crossbow due to physical limitations. i am putting 82nd airborne on top of my purchase list for my good days to shoot. i wanted bowtech crossbow but could not swing it on disability compensation pay. thats what your next program should be. many of us vets can no longer shoot regular compound bows or are very limited. i had to obtain disabled permit to hunt during archery seasons. thanx for duing this for all serving. mike misker
